JORDSANS // SENSE OF SOIL

Crossdisciplinary researchexperiment about sensing soil together with Nordic with scientists, farmers and artists.

Collaboration with Jordens Hus

Soil is the foundation of life on earth.
Soil is an archive of the past and a necessity of the future.
But do humans have a sense of soil, or can we develop one?
How might we train this ‘Sense of Soil’?

Jordsans is a concept under developement - a new sense to train and care for.
It is also gathering of soil sensing people from various discliplines: art, science and agriculture meeting to develope new modes of sensing soil.
The third of these soil sensing gatherings took place at Mitt Nya Museum, Malmö Konstmuseum.
