MATERIAL PIGMENT ARCHIVE

COLOUR / MATERIAL / EXHIBITION

Material Pigment Archive is an investigation of the relation between materials, colours and waste.
It is a collection of 208 ‘colour pigments’ created by grinding found objects and materials into powder. The found objects and materials have primarily been collected from waste bins and on the streets. They are collected, then grinded using kitchen utensils and blenders. This way, a textile, a plastic bag, a toothbrush, or a broken ceramic bowl is pulverized into a physical colour experience.
Material Pigment Archive has been exhibited at:
FORUNDRING FORANDRING, solo exhibition at Augustiana Kunsthal, Augustenborg, 2019
DIVITED DIVERSITY, graduation exhibition, Koldinghus, Kolding, 2019
IS THIS COLOUR? curated by KONTEMPO, Rundetårn Copenhagen, 2019
