A material archive consisting of experimental materials created at the TextileLab Amsterdam. The archive is a way of sharing knowledge, experience and inspiration amongst designers, researchers and other material nerds.

At the TextileLab Amsterdam researchers and designers are focussing on novel and sustainable ways of future manufacturing within fashion and textile. When working experimentally with materials it is important to document the process and the results. The archive is a way of documenting the knowledge and experience from the material process.

All materials are named, numbered, categorized and tagged for easy access to information. All information is open-source and contains contact information for the maker of the material. The material samples can be found at the physical archive at Waag society in Amsterdam.
